Litter picker volunteers needed for Saturday 15th August at 10.30 am meeting at the Bellingham Road/Thornsbeach Road entrance of the park. Ending at 11.30 am for debriefing.
We will provide litter pickers and rubbish sacks, for Covid-19 reasons, please bring your own protective gloves.
Our mission is to undertake a deep clean of the woodland areas and clean up the car parking area and hedgerow.
This event is organised jointly with the Friends of Forster Memorial Park and the Ravensbourne Residents Association.
Volunteers must follow the latest Covid-19 government guidelines regarding physical distancing and have some means of sanitising their hands after the event.
We hope to see you on Saturday.

Update 15/08/2020
Thank you to all our volunteer litter pickers in Forster Memorial Park this morning including: Steven, Cristian, Shem, Eric, Diana, Denise, Lesley, Jean W, Jeff, Janet, Alan, Debbie, Ron, Paul, Simon, Jean A, Omari, Kate, Geoff.
35 Bags of litter/rubbish were collected. The fence side of the car park was cleared of weeds and muck. The pile of dumped black sacks have been reported to the council on FixMyStreet.

Other good news to report the main car park fly-tipping has now been removed by the council allowing space for two more vehicles.
