Welcome to the Ravensbourne Residents Association January litter pick report. We also had support from our friends in the neighbouring Culverley Green Residents Association.
A big thank you to the eleven residents/volunteers that turned up to help including: Diana, Eric, Jeff, Denise, Margaret, Andy, Julie, Kate, Jean, Geoff and Steven.
We took direct action to clean up the following places:
- Crantock Road
- Callander Road
- Daneby Road
- Bellingham Road
- Thornsbeach Road
- Forster Memorial Park
Three volunteers concentrated on the woodland sections of the park and discovered several hot spots where litter gathers probably due to the invisible bins!
Bellingham Road was tackled by four volunteers, but they could only litter pick parts of the road due to the high volumes of litter and time constraints. To cover this road effectively we will need six volunteers next time.

Community Action
Join our next litter pick on Saturday 19th February at 10.30am meeting at the junction of Crantock Road and Thornsbeach Road. Please bring your own protective gloves.
You will not only be helping your community by combatting litter, you will also be meeting other like-minded people, whilst getting some fresh air and exercise. We provide all the training and equipment to borrow on the day.
See you at the next litter pick. Come and join in the fun.
